Ridvan Celebration - 12th Day

Hosted by the Lewis family, Baha`is of Naperville celebrated 12^th day of Ridvan on Tuesday April 30^th. Many friends from surrounding communities joined this event and were treated with a brief nature sound track along with singing of birds. Everyone enjoyed prayers chanted in Farsi and their translation in English. Children offered prayers and everyone enjoyed a beautiful musical piece at the end. Children introduced themselves and shared their desired occupation “when they grow up”. This introduction was continued by adults and a few offered their wish, should they grow up! Delicious food and sweets were offered by the hostess and friendships were renewed. Everyone left this party with a beautiful stem of pink rose.
