On February 24th, Baha`is of Naperville joined this year’s celebration of Ayyam-i-Ha, hosted by the Aurora Baha`i community at the Prisco Community Center. Believers and friends of the faith, from surrounding communities, enjoyed delightful home cooking in this potluck event. Many new friendships were formed and old friends were reacquainted.

Prayers and a brief description of Ayyam-i-Ha was offered by Sholeh and children treated everyone by singing the prayer “Blessed is the spot” as a group. Their performance was as sweet as the many sweets and cakes offered in this event.

Children and youth enjoyed meeting each other, colored pages and played some board games. The special part of this evening was a performance and narration of “the Ayyam-i-Ha Train” by Taraneh and family. Children were excited to follow the conductor, as the Ayyam-i-Ha train traveled through North America. They learned from Julien and his friend Sophie, how each family in different state, celebrated these joyous days.

Evening came to close, after friends enjoyed dancing to some nice tunes.
