Location
On the occasion of the anniversary of the
Birth of Bahá’u’lláh, the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith,
the Naperville Bahá’í community is sponsoring an
Interfaith dinner program
Saturday, November 3rd, 6:30 PM
St. Margaret Mary Parish Hall
1450 Green Trails Drive, Naperville, IL 60540
(Intersection of Green Trails Dr and S. Naper Blvd)
The Bahá’í community has been involved in many interfaith activities over the years and has come to know many people from various faith communities in and around Naperville. We have invited them to this dinner so we, the Bahá’ís, will have a better opportunity to get to know them and for them to get to know us. We hope you will join us for the evening. The Spiritual Assembly of Naperville asks each Bahá’í to pay $10 to help defray the costs for the evening. Please note, however, this is an ‘interfaith’ event, not a ‘teaching’ opportunity, and as such our guests are not being charged.
In respect to various religious dietary restrictions for all attending, we are serving a vegetarian, three-course dinner. The program will also include an artistic presentation and entertainment by Van Gilmer, House of Worship Choir Director and renowned musician.
Please send your check of $10/person made payable to the Naperville Bahá’í Fund to reserve your place and note ‘Interfaith Dinner’ on the check. Send your payment with your name and those of your family/party accompanying you by October 27, 2012, to Shiva Dosenbach, 500 Ticonderoga Ln, Naperville, IL 60563. Monies will NOT be collected on the evening. Only those replying in advance by October 27th will be able to attend. Please also send an email confirmation to shiva@dosenbach-family.com.
There will still be a separate devotional program held to celebrate the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh on November 11th.
